Scrum Master Certified (SMC)

Scrum Master Certified (SMC^®) professionals are facilitators who ensure that the Scrum Team is provided with an environment conducive to completing the project successfully. The Scrum Master guides, facilitates, and teaches Scrum practices to everyone involved in the project; clears impediments for the team; and, ensures that Scrum processes are being followed.

Successful candidates will be awarded the Scrum Master Certified (SMC^®) certification by SCRUMstudy^™ after passing the certification exam.

Course Outcomes

Delegates will readily be able to recognize, define, and work with the concepts, advantages, and challenges of the Scrum Framework.
Delegates will be prepared to play the role of Scrum Master in their organizations and help their organisations adopt the Scrum Framework. Furthermore, delegates will develop an understanding of the other roles in Scrum.
Delegates will participate in role-plays, during which they carry out a Scrum project.
Delegates will gain knowledge pertaining to, and the ability to anticipate issues related to the practical implementation of Scrum.

Course Methodology

Students work through a case study to simulate product development using the Scrum Framework.

Who should attend

This certification is appropriate for anyone who is interested in working as a Scrum Master or for someone who is already a Scrum master in his organisation. Scrum Master is an important role in any Scrum team and need not be a technology expert to be effective.

The questions asked in the proctored certification exams are selected randomly from a vast database of thousands of exam questions. The exam algorithm calculates the exact marks and determines whether a student has passed or not. The system calculates the score based on proficiency levels.
